2-3 Years Room

At 2 years of age your child will move into our 2-3 Year Olds Room.

Here a slightly more structured daily routine is used although there is still ample opportunity for free play.

We provide activities and challenges to further develop your child’s knowledge, skills, emotional, physical, social and intellectual potential. We assess your child’s progress against objectives. Future plans are informed by your child’s achievements and interests thus giving a more individualised learning experience.

Again we have a ‘wet/messy’ play area in this room. We have a separate bathroom area and separate sleep room.

As well as playing in our well-equipped outdoor area with soft surface, climbing, ride on equipment, seating and construction site for digging; we make use of the surrounding woodland walks for activities such as minibeast hunting and story times.

09.00	Hand washing and breakfast time
09.30	Welcome song / free play / activities
10.00	Outdoor play / walk around Village / Adventure Playground
11.00	Nappy change/toileting reminders / Constructive play/table top activities
12.00	Hand washing and lunch time
12.30	Sleep time for children who require it / quiet play
14.00	Nappy change/toileting reminders and activities
15.00	Outdoor time in the outdoor area
15.30	Hand washing and tea time
16.00	Free play
17.00	Hand washing and snack time / nappy change
18.00	Home time, Parents will be briefed about their child’s day

Children can arrive and be picked up at any time during the day.
