Newsletter - November/December 2020

Welcome to all our new children at Nursery and Pre-School.

Our theme for November is ‘Nursery Rhymes’ and for December is ‘Winter and Christmas’.

Staff News

• We welcome Wiki back to work in Pre-School after her Maternity Leave.

Diary dates

• 9-15th November – ‘Children in Need’, Pyjama Week - your child can wear their pyjamas for the week, if you can, please bring in a donation for this worthy cause or donate online.
• 11th December – ‘Save the Children’ Christmas Jumper Day. Come wearing your Christmas themed clothes, if you can, please bring in your donation for this worthy cause or donate online.
• Date to be announced - We are hoping Father Christmas will be able to drop off your Christmas presents and see you from a distance, I’m sure he is going to miss talking to everyone as usual after our Christmas Carol Concert which, sadly, we won’t be able to have this year.
• Date to be announced - St. Luke’s Hospice Rudolph Run.

We will be collecting foodstuffs, toiletries, toys etc for ‘The Salvation Army’ Emergency Christmas relief parcels. If you’d like to contribute, please drop off your items in the collection boxes at the front door early in December. Items that are particularly needed are biscuits and new toys for children 0-5 years of age.

If you have any problems logging into ‘Tapestry’, our online learning journals, please let us know. Your child’s Key Worker is always available to discuss your child’s progress.

Please remember to send in coats, hats and gloves for playing out in the colder weather. Please label them with your child’s name. You can also bring in some slippers to wear indoors.
